Waiting list
We fully appreciate that life is not straight forward - circumstances change and, for any number of reasons, people who have registered for an allotment plot may no longer be interested in taking one on, but they have forgotten to let us know to remove their names from the waiting list, therefore, we will periodically review our waiting list to ensure that everyone on the list still wishes to be considered for a plot.
If you are contacted, please ensure you reply within 14 days of the date of the email/letter was issued. If a reply is not received, those names will be permanently removed from all allotment waiting lists.

Bradford Council currently has 29 allotment sites. Please be aware that allotments are very popular and at present there are long waiting lists for some sites.
If you wish to apply to be considered for an allotment plot or review your current queue position, please register or log in to your existing account. Please note all applications for the waiting list will be reviewed before you can be considered to join the waiting list. If your application is successful, you will receive an email notification to confirm your allotment account request has been accepted. Once you are in receipt of the acceptance, you will then be able to select which sites you would like to be considered for.
Please note, you are only able to register an interest for two sites across the district and plots are limited to one per household, therefore, if someone who resides in your household has already been allocated a plot, we will not be able to offer a plot to you at this time.
Due to the high demand for allotment plots you will only be considered for a plot if you are a resident of the district, and we will not be able to offer a plot to anyone who resides outside of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council area. We are aware that there are areas outside of the district that have a BD postcode, however, consideration can only be given to those who reside in a property that has Council Tax liability to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
We can only make a plot offer to the individual named on the waiting list and you are unable to transfer your waiting place to another individual.
Available allotment plots may be overgrown, and you may be required to undertake work to clear the overgrowth to bring it back into cultivation.

Bradford Council does not manage all the allotment sites in the district. If a local Town, Parish or Village Council does have allotments within their boundaries, they will manage their own sites and waiting lists.
